Nursing targets people at all levels of health and assists them in their daily lives to improve their level of health (or to die peacefully). In "Basic Nursing Science" as a specialized subject, students will gain a principled understanding of such nursing activities from the perspectives of "what nursing means to human beings, what kind of relationships can be considered nursing, and how nursing can be established and developed in human society”.
Through these learning activities, we aim students to form the concepts that form the foundation of nursing science, and to develop in students the awareness, thinking, sensitivity, and will that will enable them to proactively practice nursing.
Students will study the concepts and knowledge that form the basis of nursing science in principle, and among other things, learn the relationships among the concepts of "human," "environment," "health," and "nursing," which are the components of nursing science, as well as the fundamentals of human development. In addition, students will deepen their understanding of the basic frameworks of nursing objectives, subject matter, and methodology for the professional practice of nursing.
Based on an understanding of the characteristics of nursing techniques as specialized skills for assisting people, students learn the theory and methods of basic techniques common to various types of nursing and master the fundamentals of nursing techniques.

This course is designed to provide intentional assistance to people in the special life process of hospitalization to help them lead healthier daily lives, and to acquire the basic skills for developing the nursing process.
