The Department of Rehabilitation Science was established in May 2021. In the Department of Rehabilitation Science, we aim to train clinical researchers who can conduct clinical research and write papers in English using their own clinical questions related to rehabilitation medicine as research questions. The research design includes not only quantitative studies such as randomized controlled trials, cohort studies, case-control studies, cross-sectional studies, and systematic reviews and meta-analyses, but also qualitative studies and mixed methods research. Our goal is to further improve the clinical quality of rehabilitation medicine by conducting clinical research and writing papers using the most appropriate research design after thoroughly examining the research questions. We also want to create opportunities for students to write not only original papers, but also letter papers and case reports.
The main focus of this course is to conduct clinical research by creating research questions based on your own clinical questions. In addition, the following research topics are also available.
1) Rehabilitation nutrition and clinical nutrition
2) Sarcopenia, frailty and cachexia
3) Sarcopenic dysphagia
4) Rehabilitation pharmacotherapy
5) Medical and dental collaboration
