The Department of Cancer Nursing offers a master's thesis course. With the aim of fostering individuals who will become researchers and educators in oncology nursing and leaders in the clinical field, students clarify their own research topics and conduct research using methods appropriate to the topic.
We offer a wide range of research topics in the area of cancer nursing and palliative care. In the master's thesis course, students receive research guidance with the aim of becoming independent educators and researchers in the future.
Students can tackle research topics on various aspects related to cancer nursing and palliative care, such as symptom management of cancer patients, QOL of cancer patients and their families, bereavement care, quality assurance of palliative care, improvement and evaluation of nurses' palliative care practice skills, and palliative care education for undergraduate students.
