Lifelong Developement of Nursing Profession

Overview

The doctoral program is a test of foresight and originality in its theme. The area of Lifespan Development of the Nursing Profession aims to create new theories and methodologies related to the continuing development of the nursing profession throughout the lifespan. In the sense that the field spans the entire life span of the nursing profession, the theme is broad, and there are many possibilities to be explored from new perspectives. Based on the philosophy and ethics required of the nursing profession, we will attempt to create theories rooted in Japanese culture from a variety of approaches.

Possible Research Themes

We can conduct a variety of research on the nursing profession, including matters related to ethics, careers, education for the nursing profession, consensus building and facilitation in medicine and nursing, and other topics related to the nursing profession. We look forward to a variety of initiatives to improve the roles and competencies of the nursing profession.
