The memorial room was opened in 1989 as a space to be shared by all university staff and students. It is furnished with computers and other PC-related equipment. Courses such as "The Practice of Information Processing" or "Medical Statistics" and basic seminars on computer use and workshops on medical information are taught and held here. Consultations on IT- related devices are given as well. |

The functions of this department are to take photos of patients, isolated organ samples, operations, and diagrams, to videotape university events or medical conferences, and to prepare slides shown at academic meetings. Videos used for various medical courses are also produced at this facility. |
University Archives: YOSHIOKA Yayoi Memorial Room |

The University Archives was opened on the second floor of the Central Building of the University in 1966 with a collection of works by the founder, Dr. Yayoi Yoshioka, and Mr. Arata Yoshioka. It serves as a research archive of material related to the university. In 1970, the Yayoi Yoshioka Memorial Room was added. Reference services are provided for scholars who wish to study the history of Tokyo Women's Medical University or the history of medical education for women. |
