Research Promotion Center

Overview

The Research Promotion Center has been established to oversee and manage the clinical and basic research activities of our university and to promote research. In order to contribute to the development of high-quality clinical and basic research, Research Promotion Center manages research promotion based on laws, regulations, and guidelines, manages clinical trials and specific clinical research, and provides education related to research including research ethics and conflict of interest at the educational, research, and medical facilities of our University.
(1) Management of research promotion in accordance with laws, guidelines, and codes of conduct
(2) Management of clinical trials and specific clinical research
(3) Review, audit, and quality assurance related to research, including ethics and conflicts of interest
(4) Education and research on research ethics and conflicts of interest
(5) Education and research related to clinical research

Education Details

In the pre-graduate education, students learn about the ethics of clinical research in the "Sincerity and Love" practical training and the mock IRB as an ethics workshop for clinical research. In Segment 8, students experience and learn the process of obtaining informed consent from mock subjects using protocols and consent documents.
Post-graduate education includes a seminar on clinical research to provide students with the knowledge necessary to conduct clinical research and to receive education related to research as stipulated by the ethical guidelines for medical research involving human subjects.
