AR navigation system for treatment assistance
In order to realize a practical treatment system of augmented reality (AR) technology, this laboratory has developed an image overlay display system under X-ray CT and MRI environment using a tablet PC. The use of AR technology, especially in surgery and treatment, has been advocated for its significance however it has not been easily spread. This laboratory is developing a simple and smart AR navigation system considering the operation workflow. In collaboration with Waseda University, we promote the preoperative and intraoperative image overlay system using high-performance HMD (Hololens) for radiology IVR, with the technology of single-camera facial image recognition using AI technology.
