Nursing Management and Leadership

Overview

"Nursing Management" is a practice, and "Nursing Administration" is an area that explores the knowledge necessary for the practice of nursing management. Nursing Administration is an academic field that explores the unique knowledge related to "nursing management" as well as the application and application to nursing management of organizational theory and management knowledge, as well as psychology and pedagogy as methodologies for making the most people, based on nursing science. In order to provide better outcomes for patients and their families receiving nursing services, it is necessary to create an environment in which people engaged in nursing, medical care, and welfare can work energetically and demonstrate great strength as an organization or team. We aim to research what approaches are needed as "nursing management knowledge" to create such an environment.

Possible Research Themes

In this area, we aim to explore knowledge for the effective delivery of nursing care to people. Specifically, we will address topics related to nursing management, including management in nursing organizations, leadership and management practices of nursing managers, work environments, organizational phenomena in nursing organizations, and psychological conditions of staff.
